Volunteer Training
We can develop and run a volunteer training course for your volunteers based on your needs we have experience of running mentoring and volunteer training based on supporting people with their mental health, youth work and volunteers working on creative projects.
Coaching in the Community
A basic coaching skills course for those working with staff or volunteers or coordinating community projects demonstrating how coaching skills can be used to motivate people and lead to successful goal achievement in a community-based setting.
Mental Health Awareness 3 hours
Introductory session on mental health looking at what mental health is. Some of the outcomes of poor mental health personally and in the workplace and signs and symptoms of Depression and Anxiety. Session also highlights some sources of support for mental health.
Mental Health Awareness Flash 1 hour session (can be held in a lunchbreak)
A very quick introductory session to the subject of mental health looking at good and poor mental health and recognizing some of the signs of poor mental health.
Mental Health First Aid Courses
Impact runs the full Mental Health First Aid course and the half day Mental Health First Aid Awareness course. Contact us for prices. Bursaries are available currently in West Cheshire for volunteers in the community sector.
Both courses are certified by Mental Health First Aid England and there is the option to gain the qualification – Royal Society of Public Health Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid for an additional fee and test after undertaking the full two-day course.
